Description: Our client is looking for an Employee Benefits Executive to join their team.

The Job/Duties Working with advisers, clients, providers and other third parties to implement new schemes. This is to include:

  • Standard research, illustrations and quotes
  • Standard suitability letters and report writing
  • Reviewing and maintaining existing arrangements
  • Utilising relevant technological tools in researching clients options
  • Preparing client reviews
  • Diarising events throughout the business cycle
  • Ensuring that the back office system records are fully updated
  • Attending client meetings as required You will work with the Compliance
  • Officer to ensure that development and monitoring of systems and processes are carried out.
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules at all times
  • Comply with the relevant Compliance, TCF, T&C, Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Procedures of the firm at all times
  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes, as required
  • Follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm at all times
  • Ensure all new business is processed compliantly (usually within 24 hours of receipt) and chase through to completion
  • Complete all database requirements in a competent and timely manner
  • Liaise with the advisers to make effective use of their diary appointments and to establish needs and potential workload
  • Ensure client files are maintained in line with company procedures
  • Ensure all dealings with clients are carried out in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm
  • Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately

    Whilst not your primary role, you may be required to assist in the other areas of the business in busy times or when holiday cover is required.

    The Person The requisite knowledge for the role being undertaken:

  • An eye for detail achieving a high degree of accuracy and desire to maintain quality
  • Good time management skills with the ability to deal with varied requests and multiple priorities
  • The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firms record keeping requirements
