Real Estate and Construction Account Handler

Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their growing specialist Real Estate and Construction Division. We are looking for a dynamic individual to support their team of Account Executives and Directors by actively contributing towards the success of the team.

Their proven background and specific expertise has enabled them to build a large portfolio of clients with unique and individual needs.

They pride themselves on the technical experience within the division and are seeking a candidate who can add to this wealth of knowledge.

You will provide Account Handling and Broking services to a portfolio of Property and Construction clients, including new business, renewals and MTAs. Production of all relevant documentation will be required to hand over to the relevant Account Executive.

You will work with the Account Executives and take instruction from clients and liaise with insurers enabling you to use your excellent negotiation skills.

A commercial sense and ability to follow industry specific trends will enable you to develop your own potential within this specialist area of the business.

The Person:

To apply for this role the successful candidate will have a proven background working as an experienced Account Handler, with specific knowledge in the areas of property and construction.

You will be working to a team of Account Executives, Handlers and insurance partners so you will have the opportunity to use your excellent team working skills.

You will be known for your attention to detail and work with a methodical approach and be comfortable working to deadlines

You will possess excellent customer service and communication skills and demonstrate the natural ability required to understand your clients individual needs.

Candidates will need to demonstrate a willingness to continue to work towards the recognised CII qualifications.

As a recognised industry professional, its essential that you have experience of working in accordance with the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
