Description: This is a busy position, handling commercial New Business propositions. You would be expected to handle telephonic and e-mail enquiries on daily basis with Insurance organisations. This would entail dealing with clients in keeping with FSA guidelines, obtaining risk information, preparing risk presentations for submission to Insurers and underwriters. The candidate will be expected to handle instructions from existing clients as well as deal with renewals. The role also involves data capture, underwriting processes, production of policy documentation and written correspondence with clients and insurers. The candidate must be able to work to a high FSA standard without daily supervision.

The Person

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years Commercial broking experience. You must have the drive, ambition and experience within Commercial Insurance. Confidence, good written and oral skills are also essential. You must have the ability to build good relationships with both clients and Insurers/underwriters. You must have a sound knowledge of the FSA requirements within a Commercial Broking role.

Professional Qualifications

Progress towards your ACII is expected although not essential.
