Telemarketing Manager

Description: Our client is looking to recruit a Telemarketing Manager in Darwen.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • To manage the team, providing direction and support to the telemarketing function in order to achieve departmental standards and targets
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for team members
  • Assist in ensuring team are fully up to date on all compliance matters
  • Assist in ensuring team are fully up to date with insurer knowledge
  • Undertake monthly 1-2-1s in line with Company requirements
  • Assisting in preparing reports for monthly sales meetings
  • Acting as an escalation point for all complex/difficult queries.
  • Responding to all correspondences in a timely and professional manner
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the sales process and apply this in all sales related processes
  • Ensuring team and individual weekly, monthly and annual targets are achieved
  • Gain wider product knowledge where required
  • Promoting cross sales and lead generation from client portfolio within the team
  • Act as a positive role model to other staff
  • Support junior/inexperienced members of the team to help with their development
  • Assist in maintaining the image, ethos and style of the Business.
  • To work with colleagues in such a way that every employee feels included and valued
  • Assist in maintaining the external relationships with insurance companies
  • Adherence to and complete awareness of the guidelines of the company staff handbook
  • Maintain own self-development and where possible, attend training arranged and identify self-development needs.
  • Responsibility for own and awareness of, Health and Safety requirements and reporting any issues to your line manager.
  • To take responsibility for own personal development in line with the agreed annual performance objectives.
